Bollywood filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a fan of the intense teaser for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, which dropped on January 8, coinciding with lead star Yash's birthday. The action-packed teaser has received a thumbs up from Sandeep, who praised Yash's 'style, attitude, and chaos' in the film. The teaser opens with a dramatic funeral scene, followed by Raya, played by Yash, emerging shirtless and unleashing a violent outburst. The character's iconic line, 'Daddy's home,' hints at the film's plot, set in the 1970s in Goa's vibrant coastal haven. However, beneath its sun-kissed surface, the film explores a dark world of a powerful drug cartel. Toxic, originally scheduled for a December 2025 release, has been pushed to March 19, 2026, due to production delays. The period gangster drama boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Akshay Oberoi. Sandeep, known for his gritty narratives, has also announced his upcoming film, Spirit, starring Prabhas and Tripti Dimri, set for a 2026 release.
