Actor Shalin Bhanot has addressed rumors of remarrying his ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur, dismissing the claims and threatening legal action against those spreading false reports.
Shalin took to social media to respond to a paparazzi page that had posted a video claiming he was planning to marry Dalljiet again.
The actor wrote, 'This is absolutely FALSE and completely fabricated news. As a media page, you have a professional responsibility to verify facts before spreading absolute lies about someone's personal life just for views.'
Shalin also demanded that the paparazzi page delete the post and issue an official apology for spreading misinformation.
The couple met on the sets of the television show Kulvaddhu and got married in 2009, but separated in 2015 citing domestic violence.
Shalin's response has gained attention online, with several social media users supporting the actor for speaking out against misinformation.
