Aditya Dhar, the filmmaker behind Dhurandhar The Revenge, has issued a legal notice to Santosh Kumar RS, who claimed that the Ranveer Singh-starrer is plagiarised from his script.
Santosh alleged that Aditya manipulated his project, script, and exploited him, but a source close to Aditya says he has already issued a notice refuting the allegations and requesting Santosh to refrain from making false claims.
However, Santosh claims he received a mail from Aditya's team, saying it was not a notice but a reply to his mail, and that they were harassing him for complaining.
Santosh further claims that the main character in Dhurandhar The Revenge is copied from his film, D-Saheb, and that Aditya has added political propaganda to his story.
But a source close to Aditya says all the allegations made by Santosh are baseless, false, and untenable, and that the story of Dhurandhar is an original idea brainchild of Aditya, who wrote it and registered it with the Screenwriters Association in September 2023.
Dhurandhar The Revenge is a sequel to Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar (2025) and the final installment of the duology.
