Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, once a highly publicized Bollywood couple, are reuniting on the big screen in Ahmed Khan's Welcome To The Jungle.
According to Ahmed, Akshay encouraged him to cast whoever best suited the role, and Raveena reacted positively, saying, 'We are all actors and grown up. We are all friends and we will have a blast on the sets.'
Although not romantically paired in the film, Akshay and Raveena share several scenes and feature together in a song, choreographed by Rahul Shetty and Prince Gupta.
During filming, the two were friends off set, joking, having fun, and talking about their kids. Ahmed recalled a moment where Suniel Shetty cheered them on while filming the song.
Raveena and Akshay's relationship dates back to the mid-1990s, when they fell in love while shooting Mohra in 1994. They eventually secretly engaged, but the relationship soon faced strain and they parted ways.
