Welcome to the Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, has received rave reviews from early audiences, who have called it a 'laugh riot' and 'paisa vasool'. Trade analysts are positive about the film's opening day, predicting a ₹20 crore haul.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is the 'need of the hour' as it caters to a huge audience beyond the metro. 'It's like a 1980s masala film, a fun ride which caters to a huge audience,' he said.
Other trade analysts, including Atul Mohan and Akkshay Rathie, also expressed optimism about the film's performance, predicting opening day numbers of ₹17-20 crore and an opening weekend of ₹60 crore plus.
The film boasts an ensemble star cast, including Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.
