Alongside, Puja posted pictures of her team, including lead actor Bhoomi, director Prasanth, and a glimpse of the massive set built for the film. Mahakali is part of the PVCU, a superhero universe that includes films like HanuMan, Jai Hanuman, and Adhira. The release date for the film is yet to be announced. In an earlier reveal, Puja showcased Akshaye's look as Shukracharya, describing him as 'an actor of immense caliber.' The character poster features Akshaye with long, grey hair and a beard, portraying the sage-like persona of Shukracharya.
