Akshaye Khanna is generating buzz for his upcoming project, Mahakali, where he will be seen as Shukracharya. Director Prasanth Varma shared a behind-the-scenes image of the actor's striking new look and praised his understated yet powerful presence on screen.
Mahakali marks Akshaye's debut in Telugu cinema and is set to hit the screens on May 15. The film centres on a female superhero, played by Bhoomi Shetty, and has already sparked significant anticipation. The project is part of the expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which includes the successful superhero film Hanu-Man (2024).
Akshaye's other upcoming projects include director Siddharth P. Malhotra's Ikka, where he will star alongside Sunny Deol as the film's primary antagonist.
