The Nampally Court has adjourned the hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case to July 6, after Allu Arjun appeared virtually instead of in person.
The case, which left one woman dead during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule in December 2024, had issued summons to Arjun to appear in person on June 22.
However, Arjun's legal team sought permission to attend the hearing virtually, citing his ongoing movie shoot in Mumbai.
The court had issued summons to all 23 accused in the case, but an advocate representing Sandhya Theatre revealed that one or two people failed to appear for the hearing.
Advocate Bhanu Chander stated that 21 or 22 out of the 23 accused have appeared, and the court adjourned the hearing to July 6 for the next steps in the registration of the SC sessions case.
