Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar expressed skepticism about Jacob Elordi's acting abilities, stating that he needs to see the actor in a more demanding role.
During an appearance on the La Pija y la Quinqui podcast, Almodovar discussed Elordi's rise to prominence in Hollywood, citing his roles in 'Euphoria', 'Frankenstein', 'Saltburn', 'Priscilla', and 'Wuthering Heights'.
Almodovar, known for his critically acclaimed films, questioned some of Elordi's recent choices, including Emerald Fennell's adaptation of 'Wuthering Heights', which he deemed 'very bad'.
However, he praised Elordi's performance in Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein', calling it a 'comfortable' role for the actor.
Almodovar emphasized that he needs to see Elordi in a more challenging role to assess his acting abilities.
