Dhurandhar catapulted Ranveer Singh to stardom, but the actor won't be playing Lord Shiva in a film adaptation of Amish Tripathi's Shiva Trilogy, the Immortals of Meluha series. Amish Tripathi denied reports that Ranveer had bought the rights to the series under his production banner, Maa Kasam Film.

Amish clarified that the rights remain with him and no deal has been signed with anyone. He expressed his respect for Ranveer and admiration for his work, but assured that the news is not true.

The Shiva Trilogy has been in development hell for years, with several filmmakers acquiring the rights but failing to bring the project to life. Amish has now clarified that the rights to the series remain with him.

Ranveer's next project is Pralay, a big-budget zombie thriller directed by Jai Mehta, while the Don 3 project has been put on hold due to creative differences.
