Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, has been struggling at the box office since its release on May 22. The romantic drama collected ₹2.10 crore on its 5th day, a dip from Monday's ₹2.25 crore. The film's total India gross collections stand at ₹18.16 crore, with a net collection of ₹15.35 crore.
Despite its poor performance, Chand Mera Dil has fared better than this year's Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. However, it lags behind last year's Saiyaara, which broke records and became the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema.
The film revolves around two characters who meet in college, fall in love, and face challenges due to an unplanned pregnancy. Produced by Karan Johar and others, Chand Mera Dil has been receiving mixed reviews from critics.
