Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, has struggled to make a strong impact at the box office. The film collected ₹1.30 crore net in India on its second Friday, taking its domestic total to ₹20.75 crore.
The film opened to ₹3 crore last Friday and saw a spike in collections over the weekend, but showed a dip in the following days. It remains to be seen if collections perk up during the weekend.
Directed by Vivek Soni and co-written by Vivek and Tushar Paranjape, Chand Mera Dil is produced by Dharma Productions. The film stars Ananya Panday and Lakshya as two college lovers whose relationship is challenged as they enter adulthood and face new responsibilities.
