Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Ananya Panday and Lakshya's romantic drama Chand Mera Dil has failed to connect with audiences at the box office.

Released on May 22, the film opened to mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike and registered a modest start.

While it witnessed some growth over the opening weekend, the momentum quickly faded during the weekdays, with collections steadily declining.

The film is now struggling to sustain its run in theatres.

According to the latest report on Sacnilk, Chand Mera Dil collected ₹1.8 crore on its 10th day of release, which is also its second Sunday.

This brings the total India gross collections to ₹28.59 crore and the total India net to ₹24.30 crore so far.

In comparison, the new Hollywood release, Obsession, a horror film that has set social media on fire, performed better than Chand Mera Dil on Sunday, collecting ₹3.06 crore.

The film revolves around the two characters who meet during their college days in Hyderabad, fall in love and soon find themselves dealing with an unplanned pregnancy.

Lakshya's performance has largely received positive reactions from viewers and critics, while Ananya Panday has received mixed responses for her role.
