Anupam Kher, the renowned actor, recently won the Best Supporting Actor award at the UK Asian Film Festival Flame Awards for his Indo-Canadian film Calorie. With over four decades of experience in the industry, Kher has represented Indian talent globally in projects like Silver Linings Playbook, Bed It Like Beckham, and New Amsterdam. He admits that representing Indian talent has become a risky business due to the troll culture.

Taking the recent example of Alia Bhatt's scrutiny at the Cannes Film Festival, Kher says, 'Losers who have nothing to do in life, they just want to get noticed by criticising something iconic.' He praises Alia for her response to the trolls, calling her a 'rockstar' who knows how to deal with them.

Kher is currently busy with his theatre play Jaane Pehchaane Anjane, which he will take to Delhi this weekend. He has been performing his one-man show Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai for 21 years, but this new play is a musical with Anu Malik, and he has sung the title track himself.
