Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has had a remarkable career, entertaining audiences with hits like Golmaal, Munna Bhai MBBS, and Dhamaal. However, one film stands out as a 'bad experience' for him – Hulchul. In a recent interview, Arshad shared that he was lured into the film by promises of a Hera Pheri-like role, similar to what Akshay Kumar had in the blockbuster. Arshad revealed that he was initially drawn to the project by director Priyadarshan and producer Neeraj Vohra, who assured him that the film would be similar to Hera Pheri. However, things took a turn for the worse when Arshad arrived on set. He was shocked to find that his character was vastly different from what he had been promised, and his wardrobe didn't help matters. Arshad recalled that he was given a shirt that fell to his knees and had long sleeves, leaving him confused about whether it was a nightgown or a shirt. Despite the chaos, Arshad decided to see the project through, wearing his own clothes in half of the film. Directed by Priyadarshan, Hulchul is a romantic comedy that was a remake of the 1991 Malayalam film Godfather. The film starred Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and others. Arshad's upcoming projects include Siddharth Anand's King, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Abhishek Bachchan, as well as Welcome To The Jungle, featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and others. Both films are scheduled for a 2026 release.
