Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi has expressed his disapproval of Aditya Dhar's Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar and its sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
At a summit, the politician called the film 'bakwaas' (nonsense) and stated that it promoted violence.
Owaisi questioned the film's relevance, saying, 'Is that even a film? It's three hours of nonsense.' He also expressed his frustration with the film's portrayal of Muslims, stating, 'What is even there in the film other than cuss words, promoting violence, and after three hours, it makes you wonder if you must cuss at Muslims or not.'
The Dhurandhar films, which have collected over ₹2,500 crore worldwide, tell the story of an Indian spy infiltrating a terror outfit in Pakistan.
