Bigg Boss Telugu 3 contestant Ashu Reddy has been booked by the Central Crime Station (CCS) for allegedly cheating a UK-based software engineer's father out of ₹9.35 crore on the pretext of marriage.
The CCS filed an FIR against Ashu, her father, sister, and mother, based on a complaint lodged by Yenumula Satyanarayana Murthy, father of the Hyderabad-origin UK-based software engineer YV Dharmendra.
According to the FIR, Dharmendra met Ashu in 2018 through mutual friends, and she allegedly promised to marry him despite his ongoing divorce. He brought cars, gold, and property in her name, but she allegedly broke off the engagement without a proper reason.
Ashu has denied the allegations, calling them 'false', and has threatened to take legal action against anyone spreading false information.
She has gained popularity as a content creator, influencer, and actress, starring in films such as Chal Mohan Ranga and #PK.
