Actor Avinash Tiwary has been a heartthrob since his Laila Majnu days, but surprisingly, he reveals that he gets more praise for his shirtless scenes from men than women.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Avinash talks about his upcoming film Ginny Weds Sunny 2, where he plays a pehelwan (Indian wrestler) and has a shirtless scene. Contrary to what people think, the actor says he doesn't get too much attention from women in these scenes.
"I think I got more DMs from men for that than from women. All the gym bros said, 'Nice body, bro!'" he quips.
Avinash also opens up about the pressure of getting married and his journey towards finding new milestones. He believes in the institution of marriage, but feels that the world increasingly doesn't.
Ginny Weds Sunny 2 is a spiritual sequel to Ginny Weds Sunny (2020), directed by Prasshant Jha and starring Avinash, Medha, Sudhir Pandey, Lillete Dubey, and Govind Namdev. The film releases in theatres on April 24.
