Actor Shilpa Shinde has been receiving attention on social media after a recent chat with comedian Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, where she revealed that she had filed a false sexual harassment case against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli. Amid the backlash, Bigg Boss fame Bebika Dhurve has come out in support of Shilpa, calling her a 'brave strong soul'.
Shilpa had opened up about the time she accused the producers of harassment, non-payment of dues, and creating a hostile work environment a few years ago. She explained that the case was false and that she had reached a settlement with the producers, who were cleared of their dues.
Shilpa revealed that she had filed the case after a year, feeling she had no other option, and that lying was not easy for her. She also stated that she had confessed to the lie because she genuinely felt it was the right thing to do.
Shilpa returned to Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain in 2025, citing an improved bond with the writers and makers of the show.
