Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has spoken out about his struggles with addiction and the support of his wife, Tanya Deol, during a difficult period in his life.
Deol, who has experienced a resurgence in popularity in recent years, admitted to turning to alcohol to cope with career setbacks in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
However, it was his wife who stood by him during this time, taking care of their household finances and encouraging him to seek help.
Deol also addressed rumours that Tanya would leave him, saying that she would threaten to do so if he didn't stop drinking, but never actually did.
He also shared that his wife would scold him for his addiction to online shopping, pulling up bills to show him the unnecessary expenses.
Deol is currently promoting his upcoming film, Bandar, and has several other projects in the works, including Alpha and Jana Nayagan.
