A production designer for the film Dhurandhar has been found guilty of sexual harassment by the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee, sparking a wave of repercussions in the film industry.
The designer, Saini Johray, was accused of sexual molestation and tampering with evidence by a woman who filed a complaint against him in October 2025.
The POSH committee conducted a six-month investigation, which concluded in late March or early April, and found Johray guilty on two counts.
As a result of the findings, Johray's credits have been removed from the film Dhurandhar and the upcoming web show Akka, produced by Yash Raj Films.
The complainant alleged that Johray had summoned her to a room at the Taj Hotel in Chandigarh, where he allegedly sexually harassed her, physically assaulted her, and wrongfully confined her.
