Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna recently welcomed Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to his New York restaurant, Bungalow. The occasion was a year-end celebration, with a special focus on Ranveer's latest blockbuster film, Dhurandhar. In a heartwarming video shared on Instagram, Vikas shows the couple learning how to make traditional modaks, a sweet treat popular in Indian culture. Deepika, in particular, was excited to try her hand at making her first modak, with Vikas even feeding her a freshly made one. To make the experience even more special, Vikas' restaurant was decorated with fresh flowers, and guests will be treated to pomegranate and cardamom modaks as a symbol of good luck and auspicious beginnings in 2026. Vikas, who is of Indian descent, was visibly emotional while making modaks in front of a picture of his parents' wedding. Dhurandhar has become a massive hit, crossing ₹1100 crore worldwide, and Deepika will soon be seen in King and Atlee's film alongside Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, the couple was spotted enjoying quality time with their family in New York, and Deepika even attended a Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas with a friend.
