Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has made headlines for allowing paparazzi to click him with his wife Pooja Deol, a rare gesture from the notoriously private family. The couple was spotted together at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Tuesday morning.
Sunny Deol's sweet gesture towards his wife was captured on camera, showing him waiting for Pooja to walk ahead of him before heading towards the airport entry gate. The Deol family is known for maintaining a low profile, with Sunny's mother Prakash Kaur and sisters Vijeta Deol and Ajita Deol largely staying away from the public eye.
In an interview, Sunny had clarified that the women in his family choose to stay away from the limelight, and that he and his father Dharmendra have never forced them to do so. Sunny and Pooja have been married since 1984 and have two sons together.
Sunny Deol has an array of films in the pipeline, including Shashank Udapurkar's Gabru, Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947, and Siddharth P Malhotra's Netflix original Ikka. He will also feature in Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Part 1 and Part 2, playing the role of Hanuman.
