Border 2 Surges Past ₹377 Crore, Beats Adipurush and Kabir Singh at the Worldwide Box Office

In a significant milestone, Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan's war drama Border 2 has surpassed ₹377 crore in its worldwide box office collection. The film, which has been performing steadily since its release, has seen a notable surge in collections over the weekend. According to the latest figures, Border 2 has raked in ₹51 crore net in domestic collections on Saturday and Sunday, taking its total domestic collection to an impressive ₹275.25 crore net (₹329.50 crore gross). The film's global haul now stands at ₹377 crore, with the overseas collection exceeding $5.1 million. Border 2's success has propelled it ahead of several big-ticket releases, including Prabhas' Adipurush, which grossed ₹355 crore worldwide, and Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh, which collected ₹377 crore in 2018. The film's producers, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, are optimistic about the film's future prospects. In a recent interview, T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar hinted at the possibility of a third installment in the series, Border 3, should the film continue to perform well. With its sights set on the ₹400 crore mark, Border 2 is expected to continue its steady ascent at the box office. As the film inches closer to this milestone, fans are eagerly anticipating its next move and whether it will be able to achieve this impressive feat.
