Cocktail 2 has maintained a steady hold at the box office over its opening weekend, despite receiving mixed reviews. The film, starring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, has collected ₹6.65 crore on its 5th day of release, bringing the total India gross collections to ₹71.04 crore and the total India net to ₹60.90 crore.
The film has already surpassed the net India collection of Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, and has also crossed the India net collection of Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor's Param Sundari.
Cocktail 2 is directed by Homi Adajania and is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in lead roles.
