Colony, the latest Korean movie from Train to Busan director Yeon Sang Ho, unleashes terrifying zombie chaos inside a collapsing high-rise. The film stars Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Kim Shin Rok, Shin Hyun Been, and Go Soo.

The movie begins at a Seoul corporate showcase where Seo Young Cheol, a vengeful biologist, injects the CEO with a fast-acting, weaponised bacteria. The luxury biotech high-rise is soon overrun by aggressive, mutating infected, and the survival effort falls on Professor Kwon Se Jeong, who leads a ragtag group of survivors.

The cast delivers strong performances, with Jun Ji Hyun shining as the anchor of the film. Koo Kyo Hwan is terrifying as the mad scientist, and Ji Chang Wook's fight scenes are brutal and impressive.

While Colony is smarter and more calculated than Train to Busan, it lacks the emotional gut-punch of its predecessor. However, its stellar action, brilliant creature mechanics, and strong lead performances make it a worthy weekend watch for any zombie thriller fan.
