Adivi Sesh's Dacoit: A Love Story has collected ₹28.13 crore in its first week, outperforming other April releases Biker and Rakasa. The film, starring Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur, and Anurag Kashyap, has a domestic total of ₹28.13 crore, with ₹1.08 crore net collected on Thursday alone.
While Dacoit has fared better than Biker and Rakasa, it still lags behind Adivi Sesh's 2022 hit Major, which made ₹41.03 crore in its lifetime.
Adivi Sesh recently held a Q&A session with fans on X, where he revealed his favorite scene in the film as the interval. He also addressed questions about the gap in his filmography since Major, stating that he didn't take a gap and worked on two scripts simultaneously.
