Rising British star Damson Idris will headline 'The Lord's Day', the upcoming series based on a novel by 'House of Cards' author Michael Dobbs.
The action thriller show, produced by Bad Wolf, will follow the story of Harry Jones, an ex-spy of Britain and convicted traitor, who must use his skills to save the UK government from a hostage siege.
Idris will star alongside a talented team, including writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent, and director Ben Chanan.
The series is set to premiere on Netflix, with Idris also set to star in the fantasy epic 'Children of Blood and Bone'.
