Danish Iqbal Recalls 'Lot of Psychological Preparation' for Bade Saab Role in Dhurandhar 2

Danish Iqbal, who played Bade Saab (Dawood Ibrahim) in Dhurandhar The Revenge, revealed that he underwent extensive psychological preparation for the role. In an interview with Variety India, he shared how he was initially unsure about playing the character, but eventually gained confidence with the help of casting director Mukesh Chhabra and director Aditya Dhar.

When asked to play Dawood, Danish initially asked 'Who's Dawood?' due to the character's anonymity. However, after understanding the character, he began working on the role and did a 'lot of psychological preparation' to get into the skin of Bade Saab.

The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, is a spy action thriller that follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent infiltrating Karachi's criminal network and Pakistani politics. The movie features Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun among others.
