The highly anticipated second season of the Netflix animated series Devil May Cry is set to release on May 12, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. PT (3:00 a.m. ET) on the platform.
All eight episodes will drop at once, allowing fans to return to the demon-hunting world of Dante, Lady, and Vergil.
The season will continue the original story, with Dante stuck in cryostasis after being betrayed by Lady in the first-season finale.
A war between worlds ignites, as Dante must battle the only force that mirrors his own: his estranged twin brother Vergil.
The core voice cast, including Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady, and Robbie Daymond as Vergil, will return for the new season.
Showrunner Adi Shankar has commented that the new season will delve deeper into Dante's war against the underworld and his personal struggles.
