Dhanush recently visited Coimbatore for the promotions of his upcoming film Kara, where he witnessed an overwhelming response from fans. During the Telugu pre-release event, a female fan approached him and knelt before him as a sign of admiration. Dhanush handled the situation with calm and humility, asking her to get up and posing for a picture with her.

The clip sparked mixed reactions on social media, with several users raising concerns about celebrity worship. However, Dhanush also shared an inspiring message with the audience, encouraging young fans to believe in themselves and stay focused on their goals.

He referred to a line from the Bhagavad Gita, speaking about the power of manifestation and self-belief. Dhanush recalled how he once visualised winning a National Award long before it became a reality.

Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja, is set to hit theatres on April 30 and features Mamitha Baiju and Suraj Venjaramoodu in key roles.
