Dhurandhar: The Revenge may be dominating the box office, but the film's success has sparked a heated debate. Actor Mustafa Ahmed has come forward to defend Aditya Dhar against allegations of propaganda in Dhurandhar 2.
Mustafa Ahmed, who plays Rizwan in the film, denied the allegations, stating that one person's propaganda is another person's agenda. He questioned why Aditya Dhar would need to work with him if the film was indeed propaganda, and added that he had not compromised his values for the role.
In the film, Mustafa's character Rizwan initially joins Arshad Pappu's gang but later turns against him and joins Ranveer Singh's character as his trusted aide. Mustafa, a celebrity trainer-turned-actor, has worked with several A-list stars and has gained wider attention with Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
The film, a sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, has collected ₹643 crore domestically and ₹1000 crore worldwide in just seven days, and is expected to outperform its first instalment.
