Actor Mustafa Ahmed has come out in defense of Aditya Dhar, director of Dhurandhar 2, against allegations of the film being called 'propaganda'. Mustafa, who plays Rizwan in the film, said that Aditya Dhar didn't need him to push any agenda, and that he respects everyone's views.
Mustafa also denied compromising his values for the role, saying that he can only speak for himself and that the character he plays hasn't done anything wrong. The film, which has been enjoying a dream run at the box office, has collected ₹643 crore domestically and ₹1000 crore worldwide in just seven days.
Dhurandhar 2 is a sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar and stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
