Dhurandhar 2 has been making waves at the box office since its release, breaking records and surpassing expectations. In just five days, the Aditya Dhar spy thriller has earned ₹75 crore worldwide in paid previews and ₹240 crore on its opening day. Its ₹750-crore opening weekend is the second-largest in Indian cinema history, and it's showing no signs of slowing down.

The film's overseas success is particularly impressive, with ₹460 crore projected to be added to its earnings from abroad by the end of its run. This would put it ahead of Baahubali 2, Jawan, and Kalki 2898 AD. Dhurandhar 2's pan-India appeal is also noteworthy, with the Hindi version performing well in southern territories like Chennai and Hyderabad.

The film's longevity is also a testament to its success, with a Monday drop of 'only' 43% and a projected ₹1000-crore week on the cards. With no competition till April, Dhurandhar 2 is poised to cross ₹1500 crore in under two weeks and eventually surpass Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2. It's likely to dethrone Dangal as the highest-grossing Indian film by the end of April.
