Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has marked a significant milestone at the box office, crossing the ₹500 crore mark on its 16th day. The spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has seen a remarkable 50% surge in domestic collections, driven by increased footfall on its third Saturday. This upswing has propelled Dhurandhar's total earnings in India to ₹516 crore, with ₹33.5 crore added on Saturday alone. According to Sacnilk, Saturday's occupancy stood at 32%, a significant jump from the 16% recorded on Friday. The film's record-breaking second week has now been followed by a positive third week, with Friday's ₹22.50 crore net earnings being surpassed on Saturday. Dhurandhar is now hot on the heels of all-time blockbusters such as Gadar 2, Pathaan, and Animal. With its current momentum, the film is poised to cross ₹700 crore, becoming the first Hindi film to achieve this feat. Trade pundits are predicting a strong finish for Dhurandhar, with the film expected to challenge the top 3 Bollywood earners in the domestic market. Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian operative infiltrating Karachi's gang and terror networks, Dhurandhar has garnered attention for its engaging storyline and impressive performances from its ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
