Diljit Dosanjh has addressed the speculations surrounding his absence at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga. In a video message, he explained that he was in Texas for a sold-out concert and couldn't attend the event.
Although Diljit is currently busy with his concert commitments, he assured fans that he would be back soon. He also praised Imtiaz Ali's film, saying, 'If you like it, share it. If you don't, still share it! After all, it's Imtiaz Ali's film.'
Main Vaapas Aaunga is a love story set during the India-Pakistan Partition, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari Wagh, and Vedang Raina. The film revolves around a love story that remains incomplete, with Vedang playing a younger version of Naseeruddin Shah, who is in love with Sharvari's character.
Imtiaz Ali spoke about the film at the trailer launch, saying, 'Main Vaapas Aaunga is a personal story of love and longing which remained in someone's heart for 78 years after the partition of the country.'
