Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh recently appeared on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show and shared an emotional moment from his recent concert in Vancouver, Canada. The concert, which was part of his Aura Tour, saw a stadium filled with 55,000 Indians, a moment that moved Diljit deeply.

During his conversation with Jimmy Fallon, Diljit spoke about the significance of the moment, drawing a parallel between the past and the present. He mentioned that the stadium where the concert took place is just two kilometres away from the site of the infamous Guru Nanak Jahaz Komagata Maru incident, where 376 passengers were detained and forced to return to India in 1914.

Diljit's words were a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by the Sikh community in Canada and the long journey they have undertaken to achieve their goals. The incident, which was marked by a formal apology from the Vancouver City Council in 2021, is a dark chapter in Canadian history.

Diljit has been making waves in the entertainment industry with his recent films, including the Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 and the Hindi film Border 2. He is set to star in Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali, which is scheduled for release on June 12.
