The film, which opened on June 12, has seen strong audience traction and positive word of mouth. Its total India gross collections now stand at ₹7.74 crore, with a total India net of ₹6.75 crore.
Main Vaapas Aaunga is facing stiff competition from several releases at the box office, including Peddi, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, and Disclosure Day.
The film tells the story of a 95-year-old man who suffers a stroke while trying to rush to Pakistan. His grandson pieces together bits and pieces from a pre-partition past as the old man drifts in and out of recollection.
The film's songs, including Kya Kamaal Hai, Maskara, and Ishq Mastana, have won immense love from audiences across the country.
