Director Vignesh Shivan expressed his condolences to H Vinoth after the leak of Vijay's unreleased film Jana Nayagan, comparing it to death.
At an event for his latest film Love Insurance Kompany, Vignesh spoke about the state of affairs in the Tamil film industry, where films are being leaked and directors are being replaced.
He explained that only a director can feel the pain of a leak, as they have struggled to create every shot of the film.
The leak of Jana Nayagan, which was supposed to be released in January, has resulted in six arrests and highlights the issue of piracy in the industry.
Vignesh also spoke about the difference between piracy and love, sharing a scene from his own film LIK that was uploaded by a fan on Instagram stories.
