Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) moved to replace MP Raghav Chadha as the party's deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, sparking a social media response from the politician. Actor Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani came out in support of Raghav, saying she hopes he will form his own party.

Raghav Chadha questioned his removal in a video, saying he has always championed the issues faced by common people. He wrote in the caption, 'Silenced, not defeated.'

Khushboo Patani commented, 'You are a well-educated and noble leader. Our country needs a leader like you. I have full faith that in the near future you will make your own party. We all would want to join you because you want to work with the country.'

The AAP submitted a letter to the Rajya Sabha secretariat to appoint MP Ashok Mittal as deputy leader, replacing Chadha. The development comes amid Raghav Chadha's prolonged silence on party matters, including his reported absence from public events led by AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.
