The trailer for Drishyam 3 was launched in Kochi, with filmmaker Jeethu Joseph and lead star Mohanlal speaking at the event. Joseph revealed how the third film differs from the first two, while Mohanlal teased further films in the franchise.
Drishyam 3 tells the story of George Kutty, who is now worried about the consequences of his past actions. Unlike the first two parts, where he knew the police and the dead boy's family were after him, in Drishyam 3, he doesn't know who is behind him.
Mohanlal hinted that there's more to the story, joking that there will be future instalments, including Drishyam 4 and 5. He also revealed that the producer has planned a fifth film before the fourth one.
Drishyam 3 stars Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 21.
