The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against actor Ranveer Singh following his sudden exit from the Don 3 project. According to FWICE president BN Tiwari, no member of the film body will work with Ranveer until he agrees to discuss the matter.
The decision was made after FWICE listened to filmmaker Farhan Akhtar's grievance regarding Ranveer's exit, which allegedly caused a loss of ₹45 crore to Excel Entertainment. Farhan had also blocked his dates as an actor for the project, which had already begun pre-production work.
FWICE remains open to meeting with Ranveer to hear his side of the matter and resolve the issue amicably. The statement released by FWICE reads, 'Considering the conduct displayed towards the Federation and the stakeholders associated with the project, the office bearers of FWICE have resolved to issue a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against Mr. Ranveer Singh.'
