This week, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive to all its members to not work with actor Ranveer Singh after he failed to present his side in a complaint filed by filmmakers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel against his last minute exit from the film Don 3.

Here's a look at other celebrities who got into trouble with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees in the past:

Diljit Dosanjh was banned by FWICE in 2025 for collaborating with Pakistani artist Hania Aamir in the film Sardaar Ji 3, but the restriction was lifted after producer Bhushan Kumar intervened.

Singer Mika Singh was banned in 2019 for performing at a Pakistani event, but the ban was later lifted after he issued a public apology.

Actor Kartik Aaryan received a formal letter from FWICE in 2025 demanding him to withdraw participation from a Texas event organised by a Pakistani-owned restaurant, but his team clarified that he was never associated with the event.

Pakistani artists were banned by FWICE in 2016 after the Uri attack, affecting the careers of several actors in India, including Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
