The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has withdrawn its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh, following a legal notice from the actor. The decision was made after an intervention by the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association, the Producers Guild of India, and Cine & TV Artistes' Association.
FWICE president BN Tiwari stated that the directive was withdrawn to avoid any issues between the producers and directors and the actor. He added that no one has won or lost in this matter, and the legal department will respond to Singh's legal notice.
The non-cooperation directive was issued on May 25 after Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani filed a complaint with the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association. The producers claimed that over ₹45 crore had been spent on pre-production for 'Don 3', a reboot of the popular franchise.
