Actor Gaurav Gera, known for his role in Dhurandhar, recently shared his journey into acting and his initial struggling days in Mumbai. He revealed that when he first moved to the city, he had only ₹84 in his bank account.

Gaurav recalled his days in school, where he was better at arts and crafts than academics. He initially wanted to pursue fashion studies but eventually turned to theatre after completing a course at Pearl Academy of Fashion.

Recalling his struggling days in Mumbai, Gaurav said he would often pass by an HDFC Bank branch and say, 'Please take care of me.' He was 24 at the time and too self-respecting to ask anyone for money.

Gaurav has always lived by the principle that he wants to be the person who can lend money to others, rather than someone asking for it.

Today, Gaurav is enjoying the success of Dhurandhar, a two-part spy-action thriller starring Ranveer Singh and others. He has also gained immense popularity on social media through his viral characters.
