Bollywood actor Govinda has revealed his attraction to actress Neelam Kothari in the 1990s, admitting they were close and he was drawn to her 'doll-like' personality.
Govinda, who was one of the biggest stars in Bollywood in the 1990s, delivered a string of consecutive hits during the decade and was linked to Neelam, despite being married.
In an interview, Govinda recalled watching Neelam's films and whistling in admiration, and said he never imagined he would get the chance to work with her.
When Neelam became his co-star, Govinda said he was in awe, and added that back then, affairs were not as public or common as they are today.
Govinda and Neelam worked together in over a dozen films, delivering several memorable hits, including Love 86 and Ilzaam.
Govinda has been away from the big screen for a long time, while Neelam was last seen in the third season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives on Netflix.
