Hanuman Ansh's team meets Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi as box office collections touch ₹300 crores | Hindustan Times

The team of Hanuman Ansh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi on Monday, following the film’s remarkable run at the box office. The meeting had director Vishal Chaturvedi, lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa present too.A source tells us, “During the interaction, the Home Minister spoke about Neem Karoli Baba, on whom the film is based upon, with deep respect and shared his knowledge of Indian culture and traditions. He also encouraged the makers to continue bringing stories rooted in India’s spiritual and cultural heritage to the screen. The meeting with Shah comes after Hanuman Ansh team’s recent meetings with other dignitaries. Earlier this month, the team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. They also met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence, Varsha, in Mumbai.Hanuman Ansh, which released on August 7, has emerged as one of the year’s biggest surprise theatrical successes. Made on a budget of around ₹2 crore, the film opened low before gaining momentum through word of mouth and witnessing a dramatic turnaround from its fourth week. It has touched the ₹300 crore mark worldwide.
