Himanshu later apologized and deleted his social media accounts. Pranit also apologized, stating that the audience member's comments do not reflect his views.

Himanshu was fired from his job as a web developer at Gurgaon-based Starvik Design over the objectionable remarks. In a video posted by Starvik Design, Himanshu opens up about his situation, saying that he is being trolled on Instagram for the last two weeks and that it has reached his neighborhood.

Himanshu said that he regrets attending the show and making the remarks. He added that he improvised his dating story, seeing how others were sharing their stories. He maintained that he has always maintained good working relationships with his female colleagues and that he regrets saying those words on the show.
