Hombale Films has dropped the official first glimpse and poster of Mahavatar Parshuram, the second instalment in the planned seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. The film, directed by Ashwin Kumar, is part of the animated series based on the ten avatars of Vishnu.

The poster features a fierce warrior holding a heavily blood-stained battle axe in the middle of a battlefield, with the tagline reading, “Where Patience Ends, the Axe of Parshuram Begins!”

Mahavatar Parshuram will depict how Lord Vishnu took the Parshuram avatar to end the tyranny of corrupt and arrogant Kshatriya kings who had abandoned dharma and were oppressing the world.

The film is set to release in theatres in December 2027 and will be the second instalment in the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, following the success of Mahavatar Narsimha.
