The excitement surrounding Jailer 2 continues to grow as Hrithik Roshan has come on board for a key cameo, replacing Shah Rukh Khan. Hrithik confirmed for the role and will film his scenes in Chennai on June 22 and 23.

His character is expected to arrive at a pivotal turning point in the story, assisting Rajinikanth's character, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The production team is designing a distinct appearance for Hrithik, with look tests scheduled before filming.

This reunion is nearly four decades in the making, as Hrithik shared the screen with Rajinikanth in the 1986 movie Bhagwaan Dada. In an old interview, Hrithik fondly remembered working with Rajinikanth, who was gentle and caring towards him.

Shah Rukh Khan was initially set to make a special appearance, but he stepped away to focus on his upcoming film, King, which marks the big-screen debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan. Jailer 2 is shaping up to be a pan-India spectacle, featuring prominent names across industries.
